*SABERES A CIELO ABIERTO* is a biannual, electronic scientific journal—published in July and December—that relies on a blind peer-review process involving qualified experts with distinguished track records in their respective fields. It was created to disseminate scientific knowledge in the economic and social sciences by publishing original scientific papers, essays, book reviews, project dossiers, and research articles. The journal targets both specialists and general readers interested in social science research. Furthermore, it aims to share knowledge generated by UNESUR and other national and international universities regarding topics such as environment and development, agricultural management, agri-food systems, socioeconomic development, tax and accounting systems, business management, public policy, sociocultural identity, border studies, university management, education and technology, politics and society, and epistemology. Its objective is to strengthen and consolidate knowledge by examining the elements—symbolic, physical, cultural, and temporal—that shape the interpretation and understanding of the social-scientific phenomena or subjects under investigation. Framed within sustainable development plans at local, regional, national, and international levels, the journal serves as a platform for researchers worldwide to publish their work and as a valuable reference resource.
